Zipform Packaging Commercial Director Eddy Pahor was presented with the Australian Trusted Trader globe at a ceremony in Perth on 23rd September attended by the Hon Jason Wood MP, Assistant Minister for Customs, Community Safety and Multicultural Affairs.
Administered by Home Affairs with the Australian Border Force, the Trusted Trader program commenced in 2016 and recognises businesses such as Zipform Packaging with compliant trade practices and secure supply chains. The accreditation allows quicker access to border processing and priority trade services, ensuring Zipform Packaging is, in turn, able to offer these benefits to our customers.
Nicholas Payne, National BDM, Zipform Packaging, said “In the highly dynamic FMCG and Food Service sectors, speed to market is critical to ensure a competitive edge is maintained when launching new products. The Trusted Trader accreditation is a further measure we can draw upon to optimise our supply chain and ensure we’re able to expedite processing at Australia’s borders where required, giving our customers greater confidence when dealing with tight launch deadlines”.
“In the spirit of Continuous Improvement it was important for us that we provide our business and customers with an increasingly efficient, dynamic and secure supply chain. Accreditation under the Trusted Trader Program validates our compliance with Australian Custom Laws and ensures we are minimising processing times for all stakeholders.”
