Rowie's Cakes

Rowie's Cakes manufacture gluten, yeast and wheat free cakes and other treats. This business wanted to expand its list of stockists by supplying meals to the airline industry. To make that happen, they needed a local manufacturer to provide paperboard packaging that was ovenable.

Zipform Packaging have those solutions and we proposed a range of ovenable cartons to replace CPET trays. Consequently Rowie’s Cakes was able to supply QANTAS with a range of meal options to serve customers with special dietary needs. Our technology also allowed Rowie’s Cakes to brand its products more effectively, with 100% custom printing on all packaging products.

Zipform Packaging was also able to replace another range of plastic packaging with rigid composite packs for biscuits and assorted cakes that can now be found on Virgin Airlines.

With the client experiencing limited warehouse space, Zipform Packaging also provided an ex-stock service via its New South Wales 3PL facility.
